AIPMT 2014 Application Procedure

The Online Application Form for AIPMT 2014 will be available only on their official website by the last week of December.

Some Important Guidelines to fill in the AIPMT 2014 Application Form:
  1. AIPMT 2014 Application payment can be made either by Demand Draft (in favour of ‘Secretary, CBSE, Delhi’ payable at Delhi) or Debit Card/Credit Card (VISA/Master Card). AIPMT Application Form 2014 fees are:
    Rs 1000/- for General/OBC
    Rs 550/- for SC/ST/PH 
  2. Before you start to fill the AIPMT 2014 Application Form, remit the fee by Demand Draft or keep the details of Credit Card/Debit Card ready.
  3. You are then required to login to the AIPMT’s official website and fill the AIPMT 2014 Online Application Form.
  4. You will be required to note down the registration number which would be generated by the system and will be required for payment of the fees.
  5. Confirmation page will be generated after payment of fees. Take 4 print outs of the page and the address slip.
  6. Paste photograph on the confirmation and send it to the following address along with DD (in case payment is made through DD) by registered/ speed post:

    AIPMT Unit
    Central Board of Secondary Education
    Shiksha Kendra, 2, Community Center
    Preet Vihar, Delhi- 110 301
  7. You are also required to take 8-10 passport size photographs with white background and one post card size photograph. Passport size photo will be attached on Computer Generated Application Form (Confirmation Page) and for admission/counseling. Post card size photograph will be collected by Superintendent at test center during AIPMT 2014 Exam. 
  8. Candidates are advised to retain the photocopy of Confirmation Page, Demand Draft, transaction Fees if paid by credit card, original receipt of Post Office for having dispatched the AIPMT 2014 Online Application Form.

Note: The processing of All India Pre Medical Test 2014 Application Form will only start after CBSE has received Confirmation Page and the required fees.

AIPMT 2014 Question Pattern

  1. The Entrance Test will consist of one paper with 180 objective type questions from the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology (45 questions from each subject) and the duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
  2. The Syllabus for this entrance examination is the same as notified by the Medical Council of India for NEET-UG which is available on website www.mciindia.org.

AIPMT 2014 Eligibility Criteria

  1. The candidate must have completed 17 years and should not exceed 25 years as on December 31, 2014.
  2. Students from the states of Andhra Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir are not eligible to apply.

Subject to the final decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, the CBSE will conduct an All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT) for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in the academic session 2014-15.

AIPMT is for admission under the 15% seats in Government Medical/Dental Colleges all over India except in the States of Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir and also for admission to Medical/Dental Colleges voluntarily Participating in the test in selected cities across the Country and Abroad.
