ACPM Medical College MBBS Admi. 2015

ACPM Medical College is located in Dhule, Maharashtra. The college was established in 1999. It is a constituent part of Jawahar Medical Foundation. The medical college is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nasik. The college offers undergraduate course - MBBS, which is a five-year programme, including a compulsory rotatory internship for one year. ACPM Medical College is full of multilateral infrastructure facilities.

Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from any recognised board. Selection will be based as per the university norms.

Admission Procedure:
Admission to the institute was through the MH-CET. However, currently, the admission to ACPMMC is via Asso-CET, the entrance exam conducted by the Association of Private Unaided Medical and Dental Colleges. The exam is held each year in April–June

D.Y.Patil Medical College MBBS Course

The D.Y.Patil Medical College was established in year 1989. It is situated at Kolhapur, Maharashtra. It was started by D. Y. Patil Education Society with the aim to provide best quality education in the field of health sciences. It was earlier affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur and later to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. The department of Secondary and Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, has declared the D. Y. Patil Education Society as Deemed University status on the recommendations of University Grants Commission (UGC). The College is a Constituent College of the D.Y. Patil Education Society deemed University, Kolhapur. It offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses under the clinical and non-clinical departments.

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS):
The students complete a course of four and a half years followed by one year of a compulsory internship before applying for the degree. The course is divided into four parts with only the second part lasting one and a half years. Students take an examination at the end of each part. The first part comprises pre-clinical subjects anatomy, physiology and biochemistry. The second part includes para-clinical subjects pharmacology, microbiology, pathology and forensic medicine. The third part comprises clinical subjects is divided into part I and part II comprising preventive and social medicine, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology and general medicine, general surgery & orthopedics, pediatrics and obstetrics and gynecology respectively. The 12 month internship is compulsory to attain both the degrees and registration with the Medical Council of India.
