Dr. BR Ambedkar Medical College (Dr. BRAMC) has been started
in the year 1981 by Anandaa Social and Education Trust. The symbol of
Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Medical faculty could be a symbolic expression of compassion
and sacred service to be adopted for the follow of recent drugs.
The institution also envisages provision of quality medical
education both for Undergraduates and Postgraduates. B R Ambedkar Medical
College is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS),
Bangalore and the medical courses that it conducts are recognized by Medical
Council of India (MCI).
The college has facilities for cultural and sports
activities for students fulfilling the need for extracurricular activities. The
curriculum followed, is as per the guidelines of the Medical Council of India
and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, which awards the various
degrees & diplomas.
Eligibility and Admissions:
The eligibility for admission to Dr. B R Ambedkar Medical
College is as follows:
- Candidate should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
- Candidates of minority status should have Tulu speaking certificate from appropriate authorities.
- Candidates from outside Karnataka State must get eligibility certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
Admission Details:
- A candidate must have passed P.U.C. II year or 10+2 equivalent examination recognized by RGUHS securing at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology combined together and 50% marks in either of the Entrance Test that includes:
- Common Entrance Test (CET)
- All India Entrance Test (AIET)
- Karnataka Religious and Linguistic Minority (KRLM)
- Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK)
