Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College (MRMC) Gulbarga was
started in the year 1963. Hyderabad Karnataka Education Society beneath the
leadership of Sri Mahadevappa Sri S. Nijalingappa, the then Chief Minister,
Govt. of Karnataka, Sri. Veerendra Patil and Dr. D. C. Pavate helped in
establishing the Medical faculty.
The institute started with mission to bring out quality
doctors by conveyance quality education to fulfill this and dynamical
expectation of the people and up the health standing of the people of this
region by providing health care and providing optimum coaching facilities for
Medical students.
The hospital was prepared in Gregorian calendar month 1967.
The clinical coaching was shifted to this District General Hospital. The
College got recognition from the Medical Council of Asian nation in 1972. It
absolutely was the second non-public medical faculty within the Country when
KMC, Manipal to urge this recognition. Faculty additionally got the popularity
