A.J. Institute of
Medical Sciences (AJIMS), Mangalore was instituted in the year 2002.The
college is associated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS),
Bangalore and recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI) offering quality
education in medicine under the aegis of the advanced facilities at A. J.
Hospital and Research Center.
AJIMS goal is to provide a global perspective of medical
education to achieve the national objective of Health for All.

The M.B.B.S Course is governed by the regulations of the
Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. The duration of the
course is four and half years (9 terms, each of 6 month duration) of academic
Study and one year of internship.
