Ambedkar Medical College founded in the year 1981 by Anandaa Social and Education Trust, with the aim of providing education to all the people of society majorly the poor ones. The curriculum for the courses is as per the guidelines of the Medical Council of India and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, which awards the various degrees & diplomas. The college has its own hospital and offers best in class facilities in Infrastructure.

Dr. BR Ambedkar Medical College has a hospital annexed to it that accommodates nearly 600 beds. The college has a great status since its inception has given the country a number of good doctors.
