For General Category (GC) Candidate
The candidate should have passed PUC II year or 10+2 equivalent examination recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) securing not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology combined together + 50% marks in either of the Entrance Test that includes Common Entrance Test (CET) / Karnataka Religious and Linguistic Minority (KRLM) / Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) / All India Entrance Test (AIET).
For Scheduled Cast (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) / Other Backward Community (OBC) Candidate
The candidate should have passed PUC II year or 10+2 equivalent examination recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) securing not less than 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology combined together + 50% marks in either of the Entrance Test that includes Common Entrance Test (CET) / Karnataka Religious and Linguistic Minority (KRLM) / Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) / All India Entrance Test (AIET).
Candidate should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission. Candidates from outside Karnataka State must get eligibility certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Candidates of minority status should have Tulu speaking certificate from appropriate authorities.
Migration
Migration from one Medical College to another college after admission is generally not permitted and the Medical Council of India is the final authority to permit such a change in exceptional situations.
