Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Medical College & Hospital started by a private trust in 2005 at Sangli. The medical college is having a deemed status as per the UGC Act 1956. The affiliated university is Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University. The medical institution conducts an all India Entrance Examination to select students into UG courses.

The institute offers Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course of 5½ years duration, which includes internship period of 1 year.

Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Medical College in Sangli, Maharashtra. The institute has received approval from Medical Council of India (MCI), New Delhi and is recognized by the state government.


The institute goal is to give good teaching to produce experienced and knowledgeable doctors.
