Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune was come into existence in the year 1964.

The Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College has started five specialized research institutes in the areas of Health Related Sciences, Biotechnology, Information Technology, Applied Chemistry and Social Sciences.
