KVG Medical College
& Hospital is a private institution imparting medical education in the
state of Karnataka. The institute was begin in the year 2002 under the guidance
of Dr. Kurunji Venkatramana Gowda, Founder President of Academy Of Liberal
Education (R), Sullia, Dakshina Kannada.
The private coeducational institute is belongs to the Rajiv
Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore. It is recognized by
the Medical Council of India (MCI). The institute is located in Sullia in the
Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka.
Eligibility Criteria
For Admission to MBBS
Degree Course
- A candidate must have passed the two-year P.U.C. examination conducted by the P.U.E. Board, Karnataka State with English as a compulsory subject and Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka.
- Intermediate examination in Science of an Indian University / Board or other recognized examining body with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, that includes a practical test in these subjects and English as a compulsory subject
- First year of the Three year Degree course of a recognized University with Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in these subjects provided it is a university examination
- B.Sc. Examination of an Indian University, provided that the candidate has passed the B.Sc. examination with not less than two of the following subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) and further that the candidate has passed the qualifying examination with the following subjects -Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
- Any other examination with scope and standard equivalent to the intermediate science examination of an University / Board, taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in each of these subjects and English
- Candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in the qualifying examination. In the case of Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe candidates, the minimum percentage required is 40% in lieu of 50% for general candidates.
- The candidate should have completed 17 years on or before 31st day of December on the year of admission
KVG Medical College Admission Procedure:
Students who have completed 10+2 with good marks in
academics. CET or COMED-K Exams to be compulsory taken.
