Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Satara
district (Maharashtra) was instituted in the year 2012 with the intake of 100 students
for MBBS Course.
The institute objective of opening a medical college is to educate the students of rural area.
The institute provides quality healthcare education, research and training facilities to medical professionals.
The various medical degree and diploma programs are
recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI and Maharashtra University of
Health Sciences or MUHS, and Government of Maharashtra.
The vision of the inception of the medical institute and the
hospital was to provide affordable and highly skilled delivery of healthcare
facilities. The college forms a Constituent Unit of Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji
Education Society.'
