(IGMCRI), Pondicherry was founded in the year 2010 by the Government of Pondicherry
as an autonomous institution of Government of Pondicherry.
The college is belongs to Pondicherry University. The college
is to provide necessary medical and paramedical education courses in the union
territory of Pondicherry so as to ensure the availability and accessibility of
health care services and to provide high quality undergraduate and postgraduate
medical and paramedical education courses so as to ensure quality health care.
The institute has 150 MBBS Seats. The Medical College is a
government medical institution in Pondicherry offering MBBS Course. The college
came into existence in the year 2010. The affiliation of this institution is to
Pondicherry University.
