Navodaya Medical
College, Raichur was established in the year 2001.
Navodaya Medical College With the need for more medical and
para-medical professionals, a group of enterprising and committed people pooled
together their resources and expertise their solidarity for the furtherance and
advancement of education in the district of North Karnataka, namely, Raichur.
The college is approved by the Government of India, New
Delhi and recognized by the Medical Council of India, New Delhi. Associated to
Rajiv Gandhi University of health Science, Bangalore.
There was enduring need for a good educational institution,
promoted by dedicated people without any ulterior motive intending create the requisite infrastructure for
developing the place of Raichur as a recognizable city for imparting quality at
par with the best institutions of the country. A positive initiative in this
direction was laid with the formation of NAVODAYA EDUCATION TRUST, a registered
trust.
